This traditional lead workers course has been designed for those who want to acquire the skills for working lead sheet and the knowledge of the design, repair and maintenance of lead work used in roofing, cladding and weathering applications.
The course is broken down into five separate modules allowing students flexibility in the pattern of attendance at the training centre. Therefore the time required to complete the course may vary according to the ability and experience of the students.
The course will be mainly practical with related technology integrated with lectures covering design repair, maintenance, fire prevention, and ventilation details for roof structures.
You or your staff will gain skills and knowledge of lead welding and bossing techniques and how to form lead sheet to a wide range of roofing applications, there-by not only improving the quality of leadwork and productivity on site, but allowing you or your staff to obtain a Nationally recognised qualification.
