The Senior Management of the Norman & Underwood Group are delighted to announce that Jon has received on Honorary Doctorate in Science, which was conferred on him by Leicester University on Thursday 15th July. This was in recognition of Jon’s tireless work within the restoration and conservation sectors of the construction industry.

Jon was in exalted company; also receiving honorary doctorates were author and journalist Peter Wilby and broadcasting legend Sir Terry Wogan.
During the ceremony, held in front of an audience of over 2,000 graduates and guests at De Montfort Hall, Jon had to deliver a response to an oration from the University. Both speeches, along with the academic procession, can be seen online here.
Jon was delighted to accept the honour, which he sees as recognition not just for himself but also for Norman & Underwood Group.
