Recover the roofs of the North and South Aisles, the Nave, North Porch and

Vestry including the repair of all damaged timberwork related to water ingress, including boarding and structural timbers.

Replace lead flashings and lead sumps, lead hoppers and lead chutes to the associated parapets.

Take down, repair, redecorate and reinstall the cast iron rainwater goods.

In recovering the roof leadwork, the existing leadwork was recast.

Reform with firings, the existing roof to allow for steps in accordance with the Lead Sheet Association requirements, with new roll spacings together with reforming the existing associated parapet gutters.

Repair and strengthen the North and South Aisle and Nave timber roof structure in accordance with the structural engineer’s and architect’s requirements.

Make good and re plaster areas of plasterwork in hair lime plaster to the ceilings and walls, from previous water damage and also where affected by the works.
