All Saints’ is the Cathedral Church to the Diocese of Wakefield that was founded in 1888.

 

All Saints’ Cathedral Wakefield is Listed Grade I as a building of outstanding architectural and historical importance.

 

The Cathedral stands on the site of a Saxon church and the present building was mainly built during the 14th and 15th centuries in the Perpendicular style. The building was restored during the 19th century by George Gilbert Scott. The East End was completed between 1900-1905 to designs by J L Pearson.
