Dorchester Abbey

Norman & Underwood have carried out a major roofing contract at Dorchester Abbey, a place of worship for over 1,300 years. The tiling and leadwork contract took around 20 weeks of skilled work and involved restoring 80% of the parapet, lead gutters and associated flashings.
Work was also carried out on the nave, the People’s Chapel and the Shrine Chapel by the team of two tillers, two leadworkers and apprentices.
