The contract started on 1st September 2003 and is a combination of lead and timber work.

Eight tonnes of re-cast lead will be laid on part of the south aisle roof which covers an area of 125 square metres.

The work will be complete by 1st December 2003 to enable the cathedral to prepare for its Christmas celebrations.
