Norman & Underwood is one of the leading independent glass producers in the UK and continues to make major capital investments to ensure that its glass processing plant continues to meet all the latest product, quality and environmental standards and is amongst the most efficient in the industry. For simple cut glass (both toughened and non toughened), our computerised cutting means fast, accurate and economic sizing. For sealed units we have automated production lines manufacturing units that fully comply with Document L, (Building Regulations Part L) which became a legal requirement in the UK on 1st April 2002.

A GREAT RANGE OF PRODUCTS

From our processing and distribution centres in Leicester and King’s Lynn we supply all kinds of glass to customers throughout the East of England and the Midlands. This covers plain and patterned plus acoustic and fire resistant including Pilkington Pyrostop, Pyrodur Plus and Pyroshield speciality glasses.

Document L compliant sealed units are available in a range of sizes up to 3m x 2m and in all major glass types.
