One of Leicesters longest established businesses has marked the new Millennium by expanding into the premium kitchen market.
Norman & Underwood, which this year celebrates its 175th year in business, marked the turn of the century with the opening of a high quality kitchen showroom at its Freeschool Lane headquarters in Leicester city centre.
Customers visiting the new showroom will be able to choose from an exclusive selection of Norman & Underwoods own Norwood kitchen designs, ranging from high-tech and contemporary through to traditional rustic styles.
We are already well-known as a supplier of high quality bathrooms, plumbing, glazing, specialist lead roofing and stained glass, explains Norman & Underwood managing director David Rowley.
Premium quality kitchens compliment our existing portfolio perfectly, and we will be able to offer kitchen customers the same design flexibility and personal service which has become the trademark across all our services.
The firms move into the kitchen market has resulted in the creation of three new positions, with further employment opportunities expected during the coming year.
