Claire Williamson, a graduate of the Loughborough College of Art & Design, has recently joined Leicester-based Norman & Underwood as a Stained Glass Craftsperson.
Claire joins the Company’s world renowned Stained Glass Studio, which has undertaken many prestigious projects including work on the Data Dabar Mosque in Lahore and the Leathersellers’ Hall in London, with a comprehensive glazing industry background.
In her new role Claire will not only be sharpening her glazing skills as an integral part of the studio’s award winning team but will also be taking over the role of concept artist on a number of major projects.
Comments Claire: “I think this is a wonderful opportunity as it will allow me to help to restore a wide variety of beautiful stained glass windows and at the same time utilise my artistic skills with the creation of new designs for modern architectural projects.”
