SPAB Course

Norman & Underwood are pleased to be hosting a one day course, organised by the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), on Plumbing Leadwork: Joints & Pipes.

The course is aimed at building professionals (architects, surveyors and specifiers) dealing with repairs to lead rainwater goods. Norman & Underwood skilled specialists will talk about and demonstrate essential plumbing leadwork skills such as joint solder wiping, piping fabrication and repair techniques.

This is the latest example of the long standing collaboration between SPAB and Norman & Underwood, which is aimed at ensuring that the traditional skills involved in the restoration of historic buildings are explained and demonstrated to the next generation of building professionals who will be involved in restoration projects.
