All Saints Church, Huntingdon

All Saints Church is situated in the market square at the heart of Huntingdon. Records show there has been a church here since 973AD, but the present perpendicular-style building dates from the late 1400s.

As part of a major renovation programme, Norman & Underwood was commissioned to recast and relay the leadworks on the nave roof, to comply with modern quality standards. Minor repairs to the stonework and timber were also undertaken by our conservation division.

After the repairs were completed, photovoltaic (PV) cells were fitted to the south elevation of the nave to help the church reduce its energy costs.

  • Removing, recasting and relaying lead gutter linings, roof panels and perimeter flashings
  • Minor masonry and carpentry repairs
