This former telephone exchange underwent a £1.8m conversion to create a contemporary, open plan office building. With its glasshouse theme, glazing was one of the most important elements of the project.
The new curtain walling and doors were installed by Norman & Underwood’s Glazing division. The screens were within feet of a public road so the work had to be completed in a restricted working environment. The glass also had to be carefully cut to fit neatly around the existing concrete beams.
