On behalf of St Edburg’s PCC and congregation I would like to express our thanks to the on site team for their tremendous efforts last Friday to get the church ready for the celebration weekend. I know they were a bit disappointed that all the tasks just couldn’t be completed in time, but I can assure you that the work was very well received. Many compliments were given about the high standard of the work, and everyone understood the time constraints which had applied.
We had a very successful weekend , which would not have been possible without the team’s willingness to go the extra mile. Many thanks.
I set up an initial site meeting with Stuart Bailey from N&U to agree a specification for them to tender and then a couple of days later I got a call to say he’d like to meet me again on site.
The finished result is great and it has been very satisfying to reuse and repair so much of the original, which is exactly what we are all about.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jamie Ward (Norman & Underwood’s Site Manager) for all the quality work that he and his team have overseen during the course of this contract and for the high level of communication, cooperation and understanding of the Cathedrals day to day activities that have definitely made his life more difficult.
I would like to add my thanks to those of Robert. From our perspective it has gone so smoothly. Many thanks to Jamie and his team.
Dear Mr. Castleman,
On behalf of the PCC and congregation of our church I should like to thank your Company for the work carried out over the past year.
Your team have been an absolute joy to work with and the final result is now the subject of many, many favourable comments.
It is difficult to single out individuals but Phil Semmens was absolutely outstanding throughout the project and Phil certainly guided the work with a very firm hand throughout – just the man we needed on our team.
– Once again, thank you – we could not have chosen better.

It has been a pleasure working with you. Thank you for all you have done.
We were very pleased to learn that a good installer had secured the contact for this project. The care, skill and dedication of Norman & Underwood was evident from the outset, and has played a key role in making it a success. This really is a landmark project for everyone involved.
How beautiful it looks now, what a wonderful job your chaps have done.
