Phil Semmens - Manager, Restoration/Conservation
Phil joined us in August 2010 to plan and manage our restoration and conservation contracts. He brought with him 26 years of award-winning experience in traditional lime plastering and stone masonry on heritage and listed buildings.
Formerly a divisional manager for Trumpers Ltd, a traditional plastering company, he also worked for Sapcotes and Linford Bridgeman, winning a RICS award and the Crabb Plastering Trophy for his restoration and conservation work.
Andy Chamberlain - Manager, Restoration/Conservation
Andy joined Norman & Underwood in October 2011 to help manage our growing number of conservation projects and develop the division.
A qualified stone mason, Andy has spent most of his career with Lindford-Bridgeman, working his way up from apprentice to manager of the Masonry/Small Works division. Over the past 30 years, he has worked on many prestigious projects including Dudley Castle, Lichfield Cathedral, Woodchester Mansion and Stowe Landscape Gardens. He was also awarded a William Morris Craft Fellowship, which involved working with various companies and architects across the country on all aspects of restoration and conservation.
